A little about me…

Dr Lara.

After spending the last few years travelling and working around Australia, I’ve had the privilege of learning from incredible chiropractors who’ve shaped the way I practice today. Those experiences helped me develop a style of care that blends hands-on techniques with a strong focus on the nervous system — supporting not just how your body moves, but how you feel and function day to day.

I created Sol Haven for people craving a space where they could slow down, feel genuinely seen, and receive care that isn’t rushed or one-size-fits-all. A space that feels warm, grounded and personal — somewhere you can breathe out the moment you walk in.

My approach is holistic and thorough. We’re not just looking at symptoms; we’re exploring your movement patterns, your lifestyle, the stress your body carries, and how everything connects. You’re not broken — you may just need support that helps your body reconnect, regulate and heal.

I work with people through all stages of life: whether you’re dealing with everyday aches and pains, needing support during pregnancy or postpartum, navigating trade work or physical stress, feeling tense and overwhelmed, or simply wanting to care for your nervous system.

I use a combination of techniques, and together we find what works best for you — from manual adjustments to gentle approaches (pelvic blocking, drop piece, activator), soft tissue therapies, dry needling, cranial and TMJ work, taping, and rehab to help restore function and help you feel confident in your body again.

I’ve always been drawn to the ocean, and I relate it to our health journey — some days are calm and steady, others are rough and unpredictable. My goal is to support you through these waves with a balanced nervous system.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me out on the water, renovating our home, at the gym, or exploring this beautiful country with my partner and our little dog, Kruza.
